Objectives

• Capacity building of women’s organisations in the NMSs to influence their own governments towards implementing fully EU policy on gender equality and women’s rights and engaging with broader public opinion on this matter

• Raise awareness of women’s organisations and NGOs in selected New Member States about the importance of gender equality and women’s rights to development

• Challenge stereotypes and bridges building between women’s organisations old and new MSs, including, where possible, South and East
