Photography exhibition
The opening of the exhibition „Through Their Eyes” took place on the 23rd of January 2009 in the Library of Warsaw University (main hall). The jury members of the competition consisting of: Anna Bedyńska (photographer from Poland), Aleksadandar Metodijev (journalist from Macedonia), Saba Amirejibi (film director from Georgia), Valeria Zacharova (photographer from Slovakia), Sabine Güertner (development specialist from Germany), Marie Therese vel Poupette Choque (activist feminist from Belgium) have selected 3 winners of the photocompetition.
The awarded authors are:
I prize: „Refugee Mothers” by Mariam Amurvelashvili from Georgia
II prize: “Birthday celebration at work” by Elena Bazan from Belarus
III prize: “Poverty Trap” by Olga Ciskariszwili-Soselia from Georgia
In 2009 the exhibition will be also held in Slovakia and Germany and in 2010 it will be shown in Brussels.
