About the report

The theme of the Polish Social Watch Report 2008 titled Czas na prawa is human rights. The report consists of three major parts. First, it includes thematic articles on human rights challenges in the global context. Those texts are reprints from the international Social Watch Report 2008.

The main section however it titled Human Rights in Poland.

It includes 14 articles that deal with current human rights challenges in the country (e.g. litigation of rights, conditions in prisons, violations of rights of discriminated groups). The final part comprises reports on human rights in the countries of CEE/CIS region and countries to which Polish Development Aid is directed.
