Objectives and activities

The following activities were already implemented:
•    establishing the Strategic Action Advise Body (SAAB) and organising its two working meetings,
•    conducting sociological research and completing the report on the working conditions of women employed in super/hyper markets (conducted within the project supported by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation),
•    other activities in cooperation with the project’s partners (e.g. a piquet, round table)
•    workshops for women leaders of employees’ movements and trade unions operating in super/hypermarkets in Poland,
•    the report analysing the cases of workers’ rights violation and identifying  the weak points of the working conditions protection system: Working conditions and labour rights protection from gender perspective in supermarkets in Poland,
•    the seminar for the trade unions, NGOs and experts dealing with employees and women’s rights
•    the round table for super/hypermarkets’ employers, state and labour market institutions, trade unions and NGOs


The forthcoming project activities:
•    lobbying and advocacy for improving the system of workers’ right protection system (seminars, media campaign),
•    monitoring and documentation of observance of the workers’ rights and situation in super/hypermarkets in Poland (ongoing activity).
