Case study: Gender equality in development policies and practices in Poland

This case study was published within the KARAT’s project „Connect ! South East West Women for Development Building Support in New Member States for Gender-Sensitive and -Responsive European Development Co-operation”.

It provides solid evidence about how Polish policy commitments to gender equality in development cooperation are  (or are not) being translated into action. On the basis of the needs expressed by the recipients of the Polish Development Cooperation in the Global South, the sound recommendations to push for gender equality to be at the center of the Polish development cooperation were formulated.
