This consumer’s mini-guide was published within the European MakeITfair Campaign, where KARAT was a regional coordinator. It tells about the hard conditions of workers who produce the mobile phones and other popular electronic equipment. It shows that the production is linked to serious violations of workers’ rights. It also shows how the consumers can influence the big electronic companies to be responsible for working conditions in the factories in their supply chains as well as environment.
